Twenty-one of us witnessed the spectacular event of Kirston being baptized in our pool! We began with everyone arriving and being greeted by Sadie (our 100 pound plus Golden Retriever who thinks she is a lap dog). I brought a short message on baptism and highlighted the monumental decision that Kirston was making and we convened to the patio where we sang a couple of choruses. Amazing to feel the Spirit of the Lord move amongst us outside the church walls!
Pastor took his place in the baptistry (a.k.a. the pool) and Kirston joined him. How marvelous to watch her being touched by the Lord as what she was doing sank in! We all rejoiced with her at this monumental decision!
Following our service we enjoyed refreshments prepared by my lovely Bride, Cynthia! She outdid herself again! The hostess with the mostest! Stay tuned for more happenings and hopefully more pottery pieces here at the Mudhut!
